Husky is currently looking for a Laborer to join their Maintenance department at their Lloydminster Refinery location.
With direction from the Maintenance Supervisor, the Maintenance Worker is responsible for completing labor related tasks such as safety checks, safety or bottle watch duties, tractor, forklift and bobcat operation, spill cleanup duties, snow removal, sanding, sweeping, grass cutting and general cleanup, and/or any other tasks as directed by the maintenance management team.

Lab, warehouse, and PMA helper coverage
Safety checks, safety watch, bottle watch
Equipment Operation (tractor, bobcat, forklift)
Snow removal, sanding, sweeping, grass cutting, general cleanup
Plant and/or maintenance experience in a petrol chemical setting is considered an asset
Education & Professional Designations
High School Diploma
4th Class Power Engineering certificate is an asset

This position is based out of our Lloydminster Husky Refinery facility, and would require the successful candidate to reside/relocate to the area
Successful candidate will be required to work in a wide variety of conditions due to the nature of the operation (working at heights, in confined spaces, with noise, in extreme weather conditions, toxic environments, shift work, including weekends and stat holidays)
Overtime as required based on business needs and schedules

As this position has been identified as safety critical and safety sensitive; employment of a final candidate selected for this position will be conditional upon successful completion of required pre-employment medical, alcohol/drug assessments and railway medical.
